Operate Now: Skin Surgery is a realistic surgery game. You’re a surgeon and you have to deal with a medical emergency! Today, you’re helping a girl who has badly injured her leg.

Casey kicked a ball over an iron fence while playing football. When she climbed over the fence to get the ball back, she slipped and cut her leg very badly on a metal spike.

The cut left by the spike is too deep and wide to close with stitches alone. Casey will need a skin transplant to cover the wound and help it heal better.

Time to scrub up and help your patient, doctor!

How to play Operate Now: Skin Surgery?

This game has two game modes. During the first round, you play the game as a surgical intern. Follow realistic step-by-step instructions to help your patient. The OR nurse, Lara, will tell you what you need to do.

First, you will have to harvest a piece of skin from Casey’s upper leg. You’ll use a surgical instrument called a dermatome to remove the skin from the donor site. You’ll have to prepare the dermatome for use as well.

The skin you’ve removed must be prepared before you can use it to cover Casey’s injury. Once the skin graft has been prepped and cut to the right shape, stitch it in place. A surgical sponge will help stabilize the skin graft and protect it while it heals. Cover the graft with a soft dressing to keep the wound and sponge clean.

Unlocking Expert Mode

Once you’ve successfully completed this surgery, you unlock the expert mode. Now you can try carrying out the operation by yourself, without Lara’s help! Can you remember every single step?
