Operate Now: Stomach Surgery is a realistic surgery game. You’re a surgeon and you have to deal with a medical emergency! Today, you’ll help a child who’s got something stuck in his stomach.

Kevin is a young boy whose curiosity has gotten him into trouble. He put a small  object — like a coin, key, or a button —  into his mouth and swallowed it!

This is what doctors call “foreign object ingestion”. Basically, that means eating something that’s not meant to be eaten.

Kevin seems okay, but the object in his stomach can be dangerous. It can poke the inside of his stomach, or block food from passing through normally. If left untreated, it could even be deadly!

Time to scrub up and rescue your patient!

How to play Operate Now: Stomach Surgery?

This game has two game modes. During the first round, you play the game as a surgical intern. Follow realistic step-by-step instructions to help your patient. The OR nurse, Lara, will tell you what you need to do.

Before you operate, you’ll have to find out what you’re looking for and where it got to inside of Kevin’s digestive system. Use the X-ray to make a scan of Kevin’s belly.

Once you’ve studied the X-ray photograph, you’re ready to operate. Kevin will have to go under full anaesthesia, so you’ll have to intubate him to keep his airway open and help him breathe during the operation.

Make an incision so that you can inspect Kevin’s stomach. Insert a camera through a small opening in the stomach so you can find and remove the item. Once you’ve removed the item, use the needle and surgical thread to suture the incisions shut.

Unlocking Expert Mode

Once you’ve successfully completed this surgery, you unlock the expert mode. Now you can try carrying out the operation by yourself, without Lara’s help! Do you remember exactly how to do it?
