Cryptogram

Cryptogram is a decoding puzzle with 250 challenging puzzles to solve. A random number is assigned to each letter of the alphabet. Can you crack the code and decode the hidden phrase?

The game starts with a couple of easy levels so you can get the hang of the rules.  Then you get to move on to the more challenging puzzles.

How to play Cryptogram?

Beneath each empty space, you’ll see a number. Each number represents a letter. Some are already filled in. Your goal is to fill in all the remaining spaces with the correct letters and decode the whole phrase.

Start by filling in the letters that are already given. Letters you have already decoded are shown as green on the keyboard. When all the correct slots are filled with that letter, it will be removed from the keyboard. The corresponding number will also vanish from the board.

Keep decoding more letters by looking for words you recognise. At the top of the screen, you’ll see an icon that provides a hint as to what type of phrase you’re solving. For example, a scientific fact, or a quote from a song, book, or movie.

You can take some risks, but if you make three mistakes, you lose the level.

The game tracks your progress, and you can view your “IQ score” and other statistics via the game’s home screen.
