Prepare yourself for a cardshark challenge, Italian-style.
How to play Briscola King
The aim of Briscola is to win as many cards as you can from your opponent. We've turned this classic Italian card game into a single-player game, in which your opponent is a crafty computer. The card shown face up to the right represents the trump suit for this round. Play a card, and your opponent will do the same. If their card is the same suit and higher (or a trump), they win. If yours is higher, you win. The player who won the last trick starts the next round. Ace is the highest card, followed by 3, King, Knight, Knave, 7, 6, 5, 4, 2. Check out the more detailed instruction screen to see what the Briscola deck looks like. It's different from your standard deck of cards, but the medieval illustrations clearly assign each card a value and rank. The points for each card are as follows: Ace = 11 points 3 = 10 points King = 4 points Knight = 3 points Knave = 2 points 2, 4, 5, 6, 7 = 0 points
