Atari Missile Command

These cities are under attack! Only you can protect them in Atari Missile Command!

The classic arcade game returns in this thrilling version that features retro '80s graphics. You can play it right from the comfort of your own home in your favorite browser, no quarters required! It's just one of the awesome titles that you'll find waiting for you in the Atari Classic collection.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to defend six cities from a barrage of missiles, some of which can split into multiple pieces! How long will you be able to hold out against what could become an endless onslaught? You’ll be able to fight back against the bombardment with your own missiles, but watch out! You’ve only got a limited number of them, so you’ll have to choose your targets carefully and use perfect timing.

Are you up for the challenge? It’s one that’s been addicting gamers all around the world for over 40 years! The first edition of Missile Command was released in arcades way back in 1980. Since then, the popular and influential game has been ported to PCs and home video game consoles alike. It also appeared in Terminator 2: Judgement Day, the 1991 blockbuster sci-fi film starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton, as well as the final scene in the 1982 comedy Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
